BLOOMINGTON, INDIANA (August 14, 2012) – Chase Energy Corporation, a start-up company facilitating the sale of electric service to consumers and businesses in deregulated states, has announced that it will establish a larger presence in Monroe County, investing approximately $300,000 and creating up to 75 net new full-time positions for Indiana resident employees by 2015.

“We are thrilled that Chase Energy Corp. chose to centralize operations in Bloomington,” said Ron Walker, President of the BEDC.  “Community partnerships and a ready facility convinced the company that this was a great place to grow their business, even though the work they perform is outside of Indiana,” explained Walker.

The project, which will create a customer care center and direct marketing office, will locate within The Solution Lab on Bloomington’s west side (www.bloomingtonoffice.com).

“We are excited to grow in Indiana, and especially in Bloomington. Indiana has proven to be a state where businesses are allowed, and encouraged, to grow. We believe that locating in The Solution Lab and hiring Hoosiers are steps toward making Chase Energy Corporation a friendlier and more successful business than our competitors,” said Marc Phelps, President of Chase Energy Corp.
